About the Breeder:

Born and raised in the UK I was introduced to the German Shepherd Dog as a very small child. My passion for the breed was developed and enhanced when, at the age of 13 years, I became involved with the Associated Sheep, Police and Army Dog Society (ASPADS) and 3 years later became an instructor for that organisation. I also became a steward for obedience competitions and commenced judging at club level prior to coming to live in Australia in 1959.

Prior to retirement in 1994, I had served many years as both an obedience trials and show judge, in administrative positions in four clubs, two of which awarded me with Life Membership, also supervised the training of many tracking dogs for Search and Rescue work and received a citation from the Queensland Police Force in 1974 for my work in this field.

Through my breeding program Jaimon dogs have produced show Champions, Breed Survey Class 1 animals, multi-Excellent graded dogs and bitches and over 30 dogs that have been awarded obedience titles, including 3 Obedience Champions. Many of these dogs also had Tracking titles.

I am also very proud of all the Jaimon dogs that have gone into companion homes and given their owners many years of outstanding loyalty and devoted companionship.

Jaimon Kennels supports the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia Hip/Elbow x-raying scheme and received a GSDCA Breeders Achievement Award Silver Medal in 2000.
